WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total accumulation of 1 to 2 inches through the Monday morning commute. Additional snow accumulation of 5 to 8 inches expected tonight through Tuesday morning.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Michigan.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions during the Monday morning peak travel period and again Tuesday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light accumulating snow will continue through the Monday morning commute. Snow diminishes to flurries during Monday afternoon and then reintensifies toward 6 pm this evening. Snow becomes heavy at times Monday night with an additional 5 to 8 inches expected before diminishing Tuesday morning.
Highest snowfall totals expected from the Lake Huron shoreline southward through metro Detroit, Ann Arbor and near the Ohio border.
